how to Faster your WiFi

Having a slow internet connection is very worse and painful, nobody likes it. But sometimes, a fast internet connection can do no good if your WiFi is slow. So it's not just about the internet connection you're using, it's about the goodness of your WiFi signal.
Sometimes, it's the simple tricks that can cure your slow WiFi. Here are 3 simple techniques you can try to fasten your WiFi.
1. Use network extenders/ additional antennas
You can increase the efficiency, speed and area of your router by adding network extenders or additional antennas. Some routers have 1 antenna, some have 2. Routers with more antennas have better range of transmission, which means you can connect and use WiFi from a broader range.
Using network extenders, you can also extend the covering range of your WiFi, which will give you stronger connection and faster speed. Network extenders are not very cheap, but it's a better option than buying a new router.
2. Choose a suitable location
You can try a different locations to see which one provides the strongest signals. Then manage to place your router on that spot.
This is very important as your router is constantly sending and receiving signals to and from your device. If placed in unsuitable spots, it will hamper the connection. So it does not matter how fast your internet connection is, your router would not be able to transfer it properly to your device.
3. Password protect your WiFi properly
You should password protect your WiFi to make sure no one else is using your internet. This will not only give you a faster connection, but it will also provide better security for your devices. Leaving your connection unprotected, will not only slow down your connection, but it will also open doors for potential hackers to hack into your system.
More Other Advanced Options
Other than that, you can try changing the channels and frequency of the router. Sometimes, other wireless connections such as Cordless phones, may hamper your router's signals. This will cause your WiFi to slow down. This problem can be solved, by either changing the position of your router, or using different channels and frequencies to see which works best for you. All the changes can be made from the system software, provided when you bought the router of WiFi.
All of these are some of the basic tricks you can use to get a faster connection. Other than that, if all get fails again, you may consider buying a new router with advanced options and a broader range. Buying the right equipment is as essential as getting a fast internet connection.
